Hear now automatically syncs Notion pages and website URLs to your knowledge base to ensure AI assistants always use your most current company information.
Hear Team

Hear has introduced automated knowledge syncing for Notion pages and website URLs to ensure your AI-native contact center intelligence always operates on the most current information. This feature allows the platform to automatically refresh its internal knowledge base on a schedule, meaning your AI assistants and automated scoring systems stay aligned with your latest company policies, product details, and compliance requirements without manual document uploads.
Automated knowledge syncing ensures that the context used by Hear to analyze calls and answer questions is never out of date. When a policy changes in Notion or a product specification is updated on your website, Hear detects these changes during its scheduled refresh and updates its understanding accordingly. This is particularly critical for the Quality and Coaching and Compliance and QA areas of the platform, where accuracy depends on the AI knowing the exact current standards of the organization.
Users can now designate specific Notion pages or website URLs as primary knowledge sources. Once connected, Hear acts as an all-tenant sweeper, pulling in the latest text and data to inform its analysis. This ensures that when a manager uses the Ask Anything feature to query the conversation corpus, the answers provided are grounded in the very latest company context.
Beyond knowledge syncing, this release includes several updates designed to give operations and compliance managers more control over their data and workflows. Hear has introduced a new invoice history page and the ability to sync issued documents directly into the billing system, providing sales and finance leaders with better visibility into platform usage.
For compliance managers, we have added signal change approval cards. When a change is requested for a signal—the criteria Hear uses to flag specific moments in a conversation—configured approvers now receive a card to review and approve the update. This ensures that changes to automated scoring are vetted and documented, maintaining the integrity of your QA process.
We have also introduced more granular control over how signals interact with your data. Admins can now run signals on specific files directly from the Data Explore page and choose exactly which file metadata a signal receives. This level of precision allows for more sophisticated analysis, such as filtering results based on specific customer attributes or interaction types.
This release also brings significant improvements to the user experience and global accessibility. We have updated our language processing to provide better transcription and correction for Hebrew, Greek, Thai, Georgian, Armenian, and Korean. Additionally, the platform now features a dedicated usage report page, allowing leaders to monitor their team's activity and handle time more effectively.
To support larger teams, we have updated project settings to include a "Team lead / Agent" role and introduced technical contact settings. These technical contacts will now receive all integration and system-related emails, ensuring the right people are notified about the health of your Hear instance.
You can currently connect Notion pages and any public website URLs. Hear will automatically crawl these sources on a schedule to keep your AI context updated.
When a user attempts to modify a signal, Hear generates an approval card sent to designated managers. The change only goes live once it has been reviewed and approved, ensuring compliance and consistency.
Yes, Hear now supports private, session-scoped document uploads within the chat interface for super-admins, allowing for immediate analysis of specific files without adding them to the permanent knowledge base.
We have improved language correction and transcription readability for several languages, including Hebrew, Greek, Thai, Georgian, Armenian, and Korean, to better serve our global customers.
